
Sylvia Livits-Ayass
Co-Founder and Attorney at Law
In her capacity as an immigration attorney, Sylvia Livits-Ayass represents fashion houses featured at NYFW, as well as commercial and interior designers, design directors and other artists in their individual capacities. Her niche practice has also provided the opportunity to represent Michelin rated restaurants, buzz worthy eateries, hospitality companies, hotels and bars as their exclusive counsel in immigration matters.
In addition to the arts, Sylvia has turned her attention to the technology sector, providing creative visa and green card solutions for tech and start-up entrepreneurs and their staff.
Sylvia is the former Chapter Chair of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), New York Chapter, and an active member of the Diversity, USCIS Case Assistance and New York USCIS Field Office Committees. She has spoken at conferences about nonimmigrant visas, business immigration, family immigration and more.
Sylvia has been featured and interviewed on MTV, ABC7 and Thomson Reuters.
Sylvia is Licensed by the California and New York State Bar.
Rachel Baskin
Co-Founder and Attorney at Law
Rachel Baskin practices US immigration law exclusively, with a focus on business and family immigration matters. She represents a diverse range of clients in the arts, entertainment and business sectors. She has worked with musicians signed to major labels; film producers and editors working with high profile studios; and graphic artists working with household names on behalf of prominent design firms. In addition to her work for clients in the arts, Rachel works closely with employers in various sectors, advising on temporary and permanent (green card) options for their employees.
Rachel also works with families wishing to file green card applications; and for all clients eligible to become US Citizens. She is the former Chapter Chair of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), New York Chapter, and has spoken at conferences about visas for artists and entrepreneurs. She is active in AILA in New York and nationally. Rachel graduated from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and is admitted to practice law.
Rachel is licensed by the New York and New Jersey State Bar.
